The Illinois State Museum’s Lockport Gallery will be opening their ROCKED & ROLLED exhibition on Monday May 1st. This show is curated by John Lusting, the museum’s director. It will feature music-themed artworks, photography and specimens from the Illinois State Museum Geology Collections.
This exhibition will also feature the SPIN IT album project. SPIN IT is guest curated by Robin Monique-Rios from Bridgeport’s 4ARTSPACE. I have the pleasure of exhibiting a piece with 52 other talented artists.
The opening reception for ROCK & ROLLED is on May 5th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. ROCKED & ROLLED will be on display at the Lockport Gallery until October 6th, 2019. ROCKED & ROLLED is also exhibition and will also be shown at the Illinois State Museum’s Springfield Campus (dates TBA).
