I am a Chicago-based visual artist and art educator. I studied at Elmhurst College where I received my bachelors of science in art with emphases in painting and drawing. I primarily work in acrylic paint and I also enjoy experimenting with different techniques including collage, found objects and painting on alternative substrates. I maintain a variety of styles including naturalism, non-representational art and cartooning. Beside my artwork, I teach at the Elmhurst Art Museum where I lead art classes for children, teens and adults. I am currently seeking higher education to pursue a career in scientific art.
