Each year during homecoming, Department of Art at Elmhurst College hosts an exhibition featuring current work by their alumni. The exhibition's reception also serves to commemorate the "birthday" of the college's decommissioned particle accelerator. This will be my first year participating and I will be showing two pieces. The first one is a collaborative work called Man and the Old Gods (the mock-up for this piece is featured on the exhibition's card to the right) which I created with my friend and fellow alumni Luke. The second is called Quockerwodgers and it is the latest piece in my Hoard series.
A public reception will be held on Saturday October 8th from 5-7 p.m. in the Barbara A. Kieft Accelerator Art Space. This exhibition will run until October 22nd.
