A commission I completed for the city of Elmhurst, IL and the organization Special Kids Day. These 16 illustrations were created to be used for an event called “Special Kids Day: City Works!” that took place at Elmhurst City Hall on July 31, 2022. There were five voting activities for children to participate in including: City Mascot of the Year, City Tree of the Year, City Vehicle of the Year, Vote for Ozy the Police Dog’s Birthday Gift, and Vote for a Treat for Sparkie the Firedog. The above illustrations were used to visually represent the characters/objects of these categories.
